To harvest found resources, the DM determines how much you find by rolling a die (decided by the result of the skill check) and multiplying that number by the value of the resource; this is the amount added to your inventory.
Example:
- Gormak the Mighty forages for redfoot using a Nature check and rolls a 16.
- DM declares Gormak has found redfoot (value 2 GP) and rolls 11 on a d20.
- Gormak adds "22 GP of Redfoot" to her inventory.
